Mission

The primary mission of The Mesocosm™ Project is to help scale the innovative use of regions where there is low-cost, high-quality energy. This project is highly compatible where there is an abundance of high-temperature geothermal fields, hydroelectric resources, solar, wind or wave energy. Mesocosm™ technology will be especially valuable in climatically challenged or remote areas.

Pursuant to our mission of creating optimal living conditions within northern climes, The Mesocosm™ Project focuses on developing sustainable environments that alleviate the impact of long dark winters and the midnight sun. The Project aims to create living spaces that are safe from environmentally borne hazards including: volcanic ash, asteroid-impact debris, radioactive nuclear fallout, and a “nuclear” winter caused by the eruption of a super volcano. Mesocosm™ domes will protect residents from long-term climate-related emergencies, including the impacts of climate change, and the potential failure of the AMOC.

The Mesocosm™ Project places a significant emphasis on increasing high-quality jobs and decreasing the need for expensive imports. By fostering the development and export of high-demand products, IP and expertise, the Project will result in building robust domestic industries. The Mesocosm™ Project ultimately provides partnering countries with the opportunity to implement sustainable technologies at scale that Re-Imagine human habitation.
