The primary purpose of The Mesocosm™ Project is to provide self-contained communities optimized for people while minimizing their effects on the environment. Mesocosm™ domes will be optimized for the protection of nature by minimizing the effects of human activity, such as human-generated damage and environmental pollution of all types. These domes will provide a climate-controlled environment where individuals, families, and society can thrive.
Healthy Balance
The inside of Mesocosm™ will offer daylight in sync with human biorhythms to offset the negative effects of the enduring darkness associated with winters in the planet’s northern-most climes. The Mesocosm™ will also offer regular “night” cycles to offset periods of extended daylight, and it will shield its residents from visually intense direct sunlight during times of the year when the sun is close to the horizon.
GREAT NEIGHBORHOODS
The Mesocosm™ will provide expanded housing opportunities in areas where needed…including regions that are climatically challenged. Much like the neighborhoods we know, the Mesocosm™ will offer single family homes and apartments, parks, schools, theatres, restaurants, and municipal services. Each neighborhood within the Mesocosm™ will comprise unique features in order to appeal to a broad range of tastes. Neighborhoods and communities will be walkable with access to everything you would need to Live, Work and Play.
PROTECTION AGAINST THE ELEMENTS
The Mesocosm™ will minimize the effects of climate extremes on humanity. The inside of the Mesocosm™ will be protected from environmental pollutants, including volcanic ash. It will also shield its residents from extreme or unpredictable weather such as wind, extreme temperatures and storms.
